Acquisio Still Cares: Helping Non-Profits With PPC Marketing

Paid search marketing and nonprofit work aren’t mutually exclusive practices, but the former can really help the latter. The best kind of training is done on-the-job, and because the Acquisio Cares Program is run by employees from every department at Acquisio, it gives those who don’t specialize in PPC the chance to manage campaigns in a real-world setting. By having a nonprofit as a client, our employees need to create real results, which is a far more effective way to learn than a basic educational course or workshop.

We’re not throwing untrained employees into the PPC trenches, of course. Acquisio ensures everyone working on PPC campaigns is trained to be a great paid-search marketer and supervised by our team’s best. That level of funding is amazing, but there is one problem. Even though nonprofits may have the money for PPC campaigns through Google Ad Grants, they don’t necessarily have an expert search marketer on-staff to manage their campaigns.

That’s really the crux of the Acquisio Cares Program. We make sure the marketing-money given to nonprofits through Google Ad Grants is put it to good use. Don’t just take our word for it, though. SOS Children’s Village, took part in the Acquisio Cares Program and saw great results. The nonprofit started the program hoping to improve their online presence, to increase donations and to spread awareness about the organization’s mission.

Through the Acquisio Cares program SOS was awarded a Google AdWords grant and saw a 100%+ increase in monthly visits to their website. That lead to 40,000 INR monthly donations and a 30% growth in annual website traffic. Needless to say, all of SOS Children’s Village’s goals were met.

The Acquisio Cares program also helped the Montreal-based charity Share The Warmth. Through our partnership, we were able to help advertise for Share The Warmth’s annual charity gala, which ended up raising $125,000. By breaking down targeted ad-groups, we were also able to increase the number of donations the charity received in less than a month’s time.
