Acquisio in Europe – An Introduction

Hello, and welcome to the new European section of the Acquisio blog. We’ve set up this new resource as part of our continued commitment to the region and will be bringing you lots of useful content and ideas to support your work throughout the year. I’ve been working with Acquisio for a couple of months now, and can tell you that Europe is a very exciting place to be right now. You can read more about me in the blog post that announced my appointment but today I’d like to tell you more about our plans – and why we believe that Europe is the perfect market for Acquisio’s performance media platform to expand into.

Digital Agency Growth in Europe

Just within the UK, there are a huge number of digital hotspots in different areas of the country. Manchester, Bristol and Newcastle for example are all areas of significant digital agency growth and prosperity. Similarly, anyone who has visited Amsterdam, Paris or Berlin will know first-hand just how vibrant these places are for both marketing and technology innovation. Combining together service and support for these different cultures, dynamics and languages takes a solid foundation. Knowing the local market, the key players and the particular challenges enables us to focus on each client’s individuals needs while delivering a best of breed, global solution. This is the key reason I am here at Acquisio – to localise our offering, service and support while maintaining and enhancing the excellence of our technology. We are actively growing our business out of London and into Europe and are making good headway on our plans to deliver a service that is increasingly closer – both by geography and strategy – to those of our European clients. Whatever your remit or region, we will be bringing to you information, insight, ideas and inspiration that will power your efforts and those of your clients. We will also be giving you the inside track on how we’re evolving Acquisio’s platform to ensure that we continue to provide the very best performance media campaign management, analysis and optimisation services to agencies across the globe. We already have lots of exciting activity lined up for 2012 that I look forward to sharing with you here on the Acquisio blog. In the meantime, do take a look at some of my thoughts for the year ahead.



Current VP Product and previous EMEA Managing Director based in the London office, Laurent is responsible for reinforcing the product team and providing local product and service support to both existing and new clients. Prior to joining Acquisio, Boninfante led new business and strategic account acquisition for Kenshoo Europe and served as Head of Search for OMD Digital UK where he launched the OMD UK agencies Paid Search offering. Previous work also included Head of Account Management at 24/7 RealMedia UK and various digital projects as a consultant. His favorite feature of the Acquisio software is its ability to optimize keywords' Cost Per Click based on engagement metrics, such as Bounce rate or page views.
