Martin LeSauteur
President and CEO

Martin Le Sauteur joined Acquisio as President and CEO of the company in April 2008. Martin is a seasoned chief executive with in-depth expertise in both software development and interactive marketing.

Before joining Acquisio, Martin was Executive Vice President, North America of Nurun, one of the top 50 interactive agencies in the world. While there, he helped developing and implementing innovative business solutions both for Nurun and the company's clients. In addition, Martin oversaw the human and operational resources for Nurun's North American offices (Montreal, Toronto, New-York and Atlanta).

Prior to Nurun, Martin was the former head of the software division for Mediagrif, a B2B interactive technology firm based in Longueuil (Quebec), Canada, and was also president of Flow Systems, Inc., an enterprise-level software provider based in Chicago and Montreal.

Martin studied in advertising and design in Montreal and Atlanta. He began his career in communications agencies. He rose to the rank of partner at Socom, a Montreal-based agency, where his fresh perspective on Internet applications and his eye for interface design helped make Socom an industry leader. In 1998 Socom merged with Intellia, forming the nexus of the company that would become Nurun Inc.
Marc Poirier
Co-Founder and CMO

Marc Poirier is a professional Search Engine Marketer expert with more than a decade experience in the Search industry. He is Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Acquisio where he leads all marketing activities.

Prior to his position at Acquisio, Marc was founder and president at Canalytics, a boutique SEM and SEO agency regarded as one of the most active Google Analytics Authorized Consultants in the world today.

Prior to Canalytics, he held various e-marketing management positions for technology and software companies that include Komunik - a Relational Marketing software vendor, Cognicase - a Canadian leading IT consulting and systems integration firms, aside from being a strategic consultant at U.S. based marchFIRST.

Marc began his entrepreneurial career in 1996 while completing his Cognitive Science Ph. D. studies when he founded Webaxis Alliance, an interactive agency that worked on major Canadian websites such as sympatico.ca and canada411.ca.

Benoit Allaire
Co-Founder and CTO

Benoit Allaire has become an International Leader in the Architecture and Development of SaaS software platforms. Before co-founding Acquisio and becoming Chief Technology Officer, Benoit was instrumental in the development of Komunik's technological platform as the lead architect and developer.

During the first three years of the development and launch of Komunik's solutions, Benoit made a significant impact on the company's technological architecture, helping the company become a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for relationship marketers.

Over the course of his career, Benoit has held numerous technical positions for prestigious technology firms such as Nurun, (Intellia), Normal Solutions, Cognicase and nStein Technologies. He excelled in each position, developing solid technical expertise for developing technological platforms, e-commerce interfaces and database management software.

Ben is an engineer who earned his degree from the internationally acclaimed Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.

Benoit enjoys participating in outdoor activities. In particular, he loves to hike in the Laurentians and the Adirondacks throughout autumn while cross-country skiing is his favourite winter sport of choice.
Richard Couture
Co-Founder and VP Product Management

Richard Couture is a Marketing Technology Solutions expert with over 15 years experience in the Information Technology sector. Before co-founding Acquisio, Richard was Vice President of Technology for Komunik, a firm specializing in the development of sophisticated software for Relational Marketing.

Prior to this position, while working for Nomino Technologies, Richard was instrumental in heading the implementation of Search Engine solutions now widely used by the Government of Quebec websites. He has held several senior management positions as Director of Technology for MarchFIRST, leader of Nurun's e-business department and Director of Technology for Normal Solutions.

Richard holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Richard is an avid athlete who enjoys playing on recreational soccer and hockey teams and coaching his children's minor league sports teams.
Eric Lacourciere
Director, Sales

Eric Lacourcière is a proven Sales Leader with more than 15 years of experience within the SaaS industry. As Director of Sales for Acquisio, Eric is responsible for driving the company’s growth and profitability. In reaching his goals, Eric’s is committed in attaining high customer satisfaction by delivering a consistent and responsive customer experience through Acquisio’s interactive sales and customer success teams.

Prior to joining Acquisio, Eric was the Director Sales for Groupe AGI, Inc., Inc. where his primary responsibilities included the development of sales for all products and services and the management of the company’s sales team. During his tenure at Groupe AGI, he was successful in growing the entire customer portfolio into 600 dedicated accounts and building the network of resellers in both Canada and the United States.

Previously, Eric had held various other positions as founder of Datatech Systems, a database marketing-lead generation company
Alexandre Lamoureux
Director, Customer Success

Alexandre Lamoureux is an e-marketing expert with over 10 years of experience in online marketing, team management and customer service. As Customer Success Director at Acquisio, Alexandre is committed in offering a continuous customer experience that surpasses customer expectation. With his strong leadership skills and passionate work ethic, he has created a customer-centric team that is driven in delivering service that is friendly and goes beyond the call of duty.

Prior to joining Acquisio, Alexandre was Vice President of Products and Services at EMOVENDO, a lead acquisition company, which developed and integrated three products in SalesForce AppExchange: PageVester (landing page tool), FormVester (form capture and form analytics solution) and LeadVester (lead scoring tool).

Previously, Alexandre was Internet Director at Montreal Exchange for four years where he headed the development of various web sites with CMS solutions and oversaw the lead acquisition strategies for SEO and SEM.

Alexandre held other various positions as President of MyOnlineCMS , a content management solutions company, President of Divergo a multimedia company, and Manager at both Voir and Hour magazines.

Outside of work, Alexandre is a fun-loving father who enjoys family activities, loves playing hockey and pool, and enjoys undertaking renovation projects.
Emmanuel Begouen
Director, Professional Services

Emmanuel Begouen is a Search Engine expert with more than 12 years experience in the Interactive Marketing domain. Before joining Acquisio, Emmanuel was the Vice President of Professional Services at NetWorldMedia, where he led a team of Search Engine Advertising and Search Engine Optimization experts in addition to managing all strategic accounts.

Emmanuel has held senior Search Engine positions including Director of Search Engine Marketing / e-media at Cesart, rebranded as Bell Web Solutions, and was the Founder of the SEM department of rebelles.com, one of the first dedicated SEM-SEO companies in Canada.

With a degree from the Business School of Nantes (France) and having completed post-graduate studies in International Business at the Université de Paris, Emmanuel is uniquely qualified to develop strategies geared towards increasing website visibility, traffic and profitability.

Emmanuel has been a key leader in delivering positive Search Engine Marketing results for Bell Canada, National Bank of Canada, Fido, Futureshop, Sears, TD Meloche Monnex, Les Affaires, Toyota and many more.

As a recognized expert in the SEM industry, Emmanuel regularly presents at conferences and provides training to companies and universities on Search Engines and Search Engine Marketing.
