Hi Greg, great article - How can anyone get started with this? I mean, if I'm an advertiser and I want to test the waters, what are the ad networks or app developers I need to look at?

CT - my team loves the Acquisio platform.
I recently posted on a pretty related topic - bidding on branded keywords - because it's usually in our client PPC strategy and we get asked about it all the time. Anyway - one of the things I found in my research that relates directly to your post was a study from NYU that shows the lift in CTR and conversion when brands have an organic listing and a PPC ad on the same page. My assumption is that the same applies to brand keywords.
Would like your thoughts and those of your readers. http://www.amplify-interactive.com/blog/ppc/6-reasons-to-bid-on-branded-ppc-keywords/

I would love to see a post from Acquisio on the topic as well.
Thanks,
Ben

Hi Kelly, the developer tried in the same exact setup you have except he has Excel 2010 but it should have no impact since it's a very simple file format (TSV). He would like to chat with you as he has a few ideas as to why it would not work for you - you can reach him directly at droy at acquisio dot com

This is a strategy that I've used in large and small campaigns. Ive used the successes and failures in my pox campaigns to change direction in organic search as well. So good thoughts here.

Q. Which keyword match type do you think is ideal when SCSI.g paid keywords to a campaign that dont rank well in organic?
