Hello Acquisio readers! Of which there are none at the moment, but that’s alright, it’s a new blog, nobody’s to blame, least of all you, so don’t feel bad… unless you’re not in the process of subscribing to the RSS right now, then you should feel bad. You would be directly to blame for us not having any readers if you’re reading this right now, but not subscribing. Technically.
We’re Acquisio, we’re a software company with a big idea – we have some funding, and are now bringing to market, to the marketing world itself in fact, a truly useful app. But we have a whole website talking about that, so I won’t bother you with it here on the blog. The blog is here for us to ramble about living, working and breathing in the marketing world, which compliments our day-jobs well enough, building and marketing software for that very marketing world.
It’s our hope to make the Acquisio blog a little more than just the corporate news; we want to connect with other people in the marketing industry, to learn from them, to give back what we learn, to find out more about what’s brewing in an advertising industry that’s bracing for the trickle-down (trickle-up?) of our haphazard economic climate. There are going to be to interesting times in this space, the next few months and years to be sure, and as our business sits adjacent to it, we might as well have a look around
